Academy Student Guide and Study Plan

Signalcrest Academy / Student guide

Learn with a plan. Practice with purpose.

A practical roadmap through four free courses, twenty lessons, three paper-only worksheets and a twenty-question capstone.

Suggested sequence

Your four-week learning roadmap.

This is a flexible study sequence, not a guaranteed route to investing proficiency. Pause and revisit the topics that need practice.

Week 01

Market Foundations

Learn markets, instruments, investing versus trading, order costs and research principles. Explain each concept in your own words.

Student success

Learn, recall, apply, review.

Read one lesson

Identify the idea, supporting evidence and important limitations.

Try the exercise

Use fictional or paper-only scenarios, not real transactions.

Check your understanding

Explain from memory, then review the answer and revisit misconceptions.

Capstone / Self-study

Twenty questions across all four courses.

The capstone now includes a self-scoring checklist, a 20-question progress display and a four-topic review breakdown. Marks are kept only in the current browser session; it is not an LMS-recorded graded quiz or professional certification.

Access and progress

Getting started with the platform.

Your first course, step by step

  1. Choose a course. Start with Market Foundations or browse all four free courses.
  2. Create a student account if prompted. Use Student Registration. Already registered? Use the login option on the course or the Student Dashboard.
  3. Enroll from the course page. Open the free course and follow its instructions. Registering an account and enrolling in a course are separate actions.
  4. Study and track progress. Use the lesson controls where available. Check your Learning Dashboard to see whether progress updates.
  5. Practice and review. Use the Risk Math Lab, Market Glossary and self-scored capstone.

Access note: All four courses are configured as free, but independent new-student registration and completion testing is still outstanding. No funded brokerage account or live trades are required.

Can’t access your course?

Check that you are signed into the account used to enroll, then reopen the course page. If the dashboard does not show your course, revisit its enrollment instructions. Avoid creating duplicate accounts to work around an error. Public reading guides and worksheets remain accessible without enrollment.

Our Editorial Standards describe the teaching approach. The self-scored capstone is not a recorded LMS grade or professional credential.
